CITY OF ANGELS

The name of the song I have chosen is `City of Angels´ written by Miguel in 2017 with his hole album called War and Leisure which was inspired by the thread of nuclear was and Donald Trump. This precise song was written because of the thread of a nucear war in 2018.

The song imagines nuclear boms rainig down Los Angees while Miguel is off shacking up with a lady. `` You see us on the blink of nuclear war over Twitter´´ he told to an interviewer.``Or the rise of the far right in German and France. So my hole mindset for the album is: what are we supposed to do caught in the middle of this? We´re at the blink of complete war and complete pleasure, at all times every day.´´ He added. He also explained that creating music is a way to speak to people and to fill the blanks using our creativity, so basically this song mixes lovve and war.

I have chosen this song because I have been listening to Miguel since I entered to the highschool, I literally love his songs and his angelical, so I thought a song sung and composed by him about war would be beautiful despite of the sad topic.
