THE SADNESS OF WAR
This picture was taken in Syria, I think everyone knows about the armed conflict there
because it has been going on for a long time. The conflict is between the people in the
country and its president.
In this picture I can see in the middle a soldier, dressed with the equipment and his
arms for war, he is also wearing a helmet and a little type of phone to comunicate with
the other soldiers. By the position of the man I suppose he is scared or sad. Soldiers
must be really brave to fight for their country. In his arms he is holding a baby girl with
a towel, this towel is full of blood, you can also see her little feet covered in blood. In
my point of view this girl must have been hurt by the war. By the way he is holding her
you can tell he feels sorry for it, in a way he is kind of protecting her, or he is trying to
help her. In the background of the picture you can see a building that its not in its best
condition, it may be destroyed by the bombs trown in the city. In the foreground there
are plastics and rubbish, As long as i´m concerned it does not look like a place I would
like to live.
In conclusion war its really sad and unnecessary, no one should be in this position of
having to run from their home. I think that the politics should solve the problems in
some other ways. The syrian war has been going on for years and I feel like it stillMarta Pujol
doesn´t get much attention, people are getting hurt and killed, i really wish this wasn´t
happening.
