Children’s rights must be respected during armed conflict?- Yaqi
In my opinion, children’s rights must be respected in this situation. Not all the articles and news that I have been reading, consider this fact important and I think it has to be taken into account.
In fact, the main victims of wars should be only the soldiers, but in the last decades, many children have been affected by them. Some die, but most of them are injured, become disabled, etc. What is their fault? Although the wars normally happen in less developed countries, the people living there should try to do something to prevent harming their to children. Furthermore, apart from being at war, they also lack good resources. So I think, children under 18 who endure an armed conflict must be helped, especially if they are injured.
To sum up, I feel very strongly that war do not take into account whether the ones who seller are children. Children don’t know anything about war and their rights have to be persevered because they are not the ones to blame for this situation.
